About the Oasis Academy
Purpose: To provide an accelerated curriculum to students who are over-aged and under-credited
Students have the opportunity to earn 13 credits over the course of the school year
The school year is divided into 4, 10 week Modules
Students take 4 courses each Module
The Promise Academy Way
6 new Promise Academies were established in 2010 in an effort to reform six of the lowest performing schools within the school district of Philadelphia. Our Oasis program is the only one of its kind operating within a Promise Academy.
